Trying again, all my damn friends are trying to buy the knives I’m making for fun! Gonna have to get a makers mark made up! Encouraging that people want to buy my stuff, not quite ready yet though
Nicely done!I started to grind these last weekend. I got 3 done hopefully the other 2 will be done this weekend. For me grinding the blade is always nerve wracking. I have tried to use jigs to make it easier but so far I have always had the best results freehand. I am hoping one day it gets easier.

I like the profiles.A pair of medium sized belt knives, probably classified as skinners-1080, 4 3/8" blades
one with rosewood and one with red river eucalyptus - with sheaths - almost done
Geez! That's like an acre!.. I have finally liberated a section of it 25’x40’ finally I’ll have work benched organized and walls to hang peg board and shelves
No, but I plan on replacing with LED tubes as they start to die. Found some that look good and bypassing the ballast is EasyJon, are those LED lights you have in there?
Beautiful work as always Randy. The new patterns all look good. If I were picking one though it would be the bottom one.First knife of 2020. Looking forward to another great year. 1084. Mesquite boster. Dyed black ash burl. Natural micarta liners. Nickel silver spacer and pins.

Yeah I like that one too. I have a new heat treating oven and some CPM-154 on the way. That may be my first stainless steel knife.Beautiful work as always Randy. The new patterns all look good. If I were picking one though it would be the bottom one.
Thanks John! Really appreciate it.You are cranking out some stunners, Randy!
I’ve just started using Knife Print. I looked at it before but when they ran a “sale” I signed up. I really like it. There are a lot of templates you can start with and then modify or you can start from scratch. Export the designs as a PDF and then you can print in different scale. The 80, 90, and 95% marked on the pattern are reduced from the 100% original.Love the top pattern a bunch.
If you don't mind me asking: What are you using to draw these?
Scott
I was thinking (that's a problem right there !) that the percentage was how much of a chance that was the next build.I’ve just started using Knife Print.
