    This one is 1084 steel, with a high polish. It has white linen micarta handle slabs and bronze pins. I made two sheaths for it- a quilted pattern dressy leather sheath, and a more functionally minded kydex. The kydex holds it very securely.

    Thanks Guys. McClellan, I have a Cobra machine made by the Leather Machine Company. I used to hand stitch years ago, but I make way too many sheaths to do that anymore. This machine works good.

    For that size blade 5/8" or 3/4" round should suffice just fine. Use a large radius cross peen with rounded corners to spread the metal sideways initially to get the width you desire. Happy forging! -Rob
