WIP Bowie knife

I noticed some sanding near the back of the handle. Was there a branch growing there? Or did you sand it down for the overall look of the profile...and/or comfort of the handle?

I really like your spacers, cant wait to see those finished.

I am going to try and get the spacers rough finished. I like to put two 3/32 inch pins from the guard to the elk. It will strengthen the handle. I want them to meet on the blue dots. First I penciled the outline on the center piece. I will drill the holes on the dots.

Repeat the above steps with the center and rear piece. Should end up with it looking like this. I still need to drill the hole in the guard ( halfway only) and the elk about a half inch deep.

I noticed on this picture that there are a couple of gaps in the epoxy day on the left side. I will tear it apart, flatten them, and epoxy again.

Because I had to re-epoxy the spacer I decided to add some bling to the guard, tonight. Copper inserts.

Marked the perpendicular line and the horizontal line using a scribe on blue dykem.
