What's going on in your shop?

A year ago we moved to a different house. I took a week off to redo one of the garage stalls into a small hobby shop. It's not a knife shop. It's for engraving practice, reloading (not set up yet - shotgun shells for trap and sporting clays) and rigging up the perfect tackle for slaying fish and the occasional "shop" stuff around the house.

Don't you just love that stereo microscope sitting there? I've found more uses for my microscope than I ever imagined. I purchased it for working on SMD (Surface Mounted Devices) on printed circuit boards, but have found uses from gunsmithing to knifemaking.

This may not be news to others, but it is to me, so I thought I would share.

My last collet for my Dremel went missing, so I went to Lowe's to pick a few up and instead found this.

Just like a regular chuck for a drill press. So no more need to change collets. It works quite well and saves a lot of time when switching between tools.

In the past I haven't liked cone scales. They always looked awkward to me. But these don't. They've turned out very nice. Good job!
