I don't know, Steve. It's like my third sheath and I'm just happy that it holds the knife!Looks good Bruce, pretty pointy Tennessee toothpick at the tip. are you going to stain or dye the sheath?
New toys!finally got a little help around my little hobby farm! and pallet forks because I tend to need to move heavy things around

I like them, look like fingers in my warped mind. Where did you get the pink camo?2 weeks with no shop time makes me cranky! Worked on these today! 5 TJ Lam Pink/Purple Camo handles on some steak knife blanks and a 4" Elmax blade with TJ Lam Blue Water camo handles. Got a few rehandles for Japanese kitchen knives in the works and need to make up a custom Tuna Poker. 18 blades should be coming back from heat treat soon as well!View attachment 78776View attachment 78777View attachment 78778
That is awesome, you can stare at the handles and see different random things, very well done.I make it I use fabric in different colors and patterns, chop it up, soak it in epoxy resin, and then press it into a mold to make a block. Its home made micarta, but random pieces instead of straight layers stacked up. I have done solid colors, alternating layers and the camo patterns. This is the full block that I made. It's approx 11" long and 7" wide, around 1.25" thick. I used 66 oz of epoxy and a half sheet tray tin full of fabric. The fabric really compresses down a lot, so you need a lot more than you think you do!View attachment 78779
