Fit and finish not yet up to where I want to be, but this seems to be the best I can do right now.
After a certain point I seem to keep going around in circles trying to fix stuff but not really making a lot of progress.
Like playing whack-a-mole.
Still need to sharpen the two larger blades.

The dust has been a battle I’m sure we all have fought. I’ve been trying to find ways to help cut down on the dust, especially the dust that makes it into my house. Over the last week I have installed a ceiling mount air filtration system that I bought on Amazon AND I was able to come up with a JET dust collector for FREE! The dust collector had been sitting outside my father in laws shop for the last couple years. I gave it a good cleaning and a new home. Both pieces work wonderful and I can immediately see the difference!

I have that same WEN filtration system. It works well. I have tented off my grinding area from my clean area with floor to ceiling shower curtains.

Heat treated my first CPM-154 over the weekend. Gave it a quick 220 sanding tonight. This is a new pattern for me and so far I’m really liking the shape.

Yeah. It’s a little close but really not as close as that pic makes it look. But you’re right, I don’t usually drill that close to the edge. Working on it when I was sick. Should have been in bed.

Steel is CPM-154. Carbon Fiber and Blue Ctek. White spacers and liners. Nickel silver pins. Hope to have it done in the next couple of days.



Some projects on the table. A lot of hand sanding to do.
