KnifeDogs 1st annual MITH giveaway

I just shipped one package off and recieved another a couple hours later from Delbert Ealy. You can cross us off the mystery list.

I just opened up the package and found a 3/16"x 1-5/8"x 9-1/2" bar of lovely random damascus . O-1 and L-6, Great looking stuff. Also the heat treat instructions. I have to wait for bosslady to get the pics out of the camera to wherever it is they go before posting them here.

Now for the hard part.....figuring out how to do it justice.:confused:

I got will man and sent him a little something he can hopefully use. I dropped it off at the PO on friday so it should be there on Monday or tuesday.

I'll be sending mine either Thursday or Friday. My father recently passed away, so things have been different around here.

got my box last week from Chris Martin. Great stuff. Really big box of handle materials and some steel. The frosting on the cake was a great leather and wood knife strop. It's a beautiful piece of work by itself. Thanks Chris for some great materials and thanks to Ernie for running this giveaway so well

Holy Smokes!

Swung by the post office today to find a box loaded with lots of cool stuff.

Mr. Morehouse of Zander Knives did a little research prior to putting this box together.....D2 billet, a profiled blade of D2, Osage orange, micarta, curly maple, 302 stainless for bolsters and brass pin material....

Thank you very much Mike for the supplies - these will take me places I haven't been yet on my knifemaking journey. Very thoughful.
