Yep, you've got a good design. While I'd LOVE to have a "C" type press, due to room and the way I use & store my press I need something like the "H" press to save on weight.

You did good.
 
Where did you buy fittings if you don’t mind me asking? I’m having a lot of trouble finding them in the sizes I need
 
Daniel, which fittings are you referring to? The SAE-8 port fittings I had to go to a local hydraulic shop to be sure I had the right fittings that would fit the hose and cylinder. Tractor Supply has a supply of hydraulic fittings, and you can look at them to make sure they'll fit. there are so many different types of fittings it's hard to keep them straight, JIC, SAE, NPT, etc Here's a link to different types: https://www.discounthydraulichose.com/steel.html

For the standard NPT fittings for the pressure gauge I wound up ordering those from Amazon - expensive but high pressure fittings are expensive.

Well "ITS ALIVE" poured the ISO32 in flipped the switch and nothing!! I almost freaked out!! LOL!! Turns out I had the rotation on the motor was wrong! Flipped 2 wires runs like a Champ!! Have to finish weld the upper flatter die and flip a couple hoses (up is down and down is up). But it's working!!

Good choice regarding the paint. That DupliColor Engine Enamel is awesome. Dries super fast, too. It's turned into my go-to for pretty much everything.

I wonder if I can buy it by the gallon...

The only gripe I have with it, sometimes it dries to a matte finish. I think it has to do with temperature. I just painted the tanks and the sheet metal on my engine drive compressor and some of the sheet metal ended up matte and the tanks were glossy.... weird.

I think so? Like I said asked the guy for Chevy engine Blue because I had a can of it and sprayed it that color to start. Well thats what he gave me and assured me that's what it was! LOL!! I actually like it better! The motor frame is definitely Chevy engine Blue though!
 
Fixed the hoses last night, going to steel place today to get some round bar for Drawing dies and hopefully a small chunk of 1" plate for some larger radius dies.
 
Is that a wooden stand that the press and oil reservoir are sitting on ?
You might want to consider putting a metal top on it so it does not catch on fire from the hot scale that comes off the billet.

Biggest one I’m having trouble with is something to step the 1 1/2” hole in the hydraulic tank down to 1” so I can attach a hose.

1-1/2" blank plug, drilled and tapped for 1"?

I used an adapter that had a mesh filter on it. Went from 11/2"NPT to 1"NPT then I was able to get the 1" NPT 90DEG hose barb into the tank and feed the pump.
