Just found this site following a link within a Blacksmithing forum. I've been forging for a couple years and always wanted to do some billets and make a few knives. Family members have worked in the cutlery manufacturing shops in the area so I had exposure early on to knives.
I've worked as a toolmaker/machinist for the past 30 yrs. and want to retire into a hobby of forging and maybe knife making.
Great forum with lot's of info.
