DC KNIVES

Not long ago I was commissioned to replicate an 1860's Soiux Indian knife and the customer decided he wanted a heavily fringed sheath for it.I just finished this for him.It has a veg-tan core and is covered in Braintan deer. The heart concho is 150 year old barn wood, and I used trade beads, tin cones and horsehair.Dave:)

Nice work Dave. They make a mighty nice pair. Like the use of the 150 year old wood on there too. Well done.

Very nice work, Dave. I never see enough of the period knives. I love making them too.
