Just finished this up to donate to my Field Division for a raffle. A fellow ATF Agent was severely injured in the line of duty. His C7 was severed and he has a long hard road to recovery...
The engraving is his Badge Number. The opposite side is the agents favorite saying "Hermanos Hasta La Muerte" or "Brothers Until Death".

I did but I had trouble getting the screws started assembling the legs. It was more poor written instructions and even the YT videos didn’t mention making sure the main wire was pulled to have sufficient tail to connect after assembly.

Finished up this Chef knife with Bocote handle, red liners and AEB-L steel. Convex grind. This is available now on my Instagram page.

Another nice day so I figured I would get something done. Kiritsuke, 6.75”, W2. The piece of black palm will be the handle, with a copper bolster and domed copper pin.

WIP: A small drop point. Christmas present for my stepson
I posted this knife a while back which, at the time, turned out to have carbon build up rather than a Hamon. Since then I've sanded some more and I may have a mild Hamon, though it doesn't show in this photo. Currently at 320 grit.
Getting awful close to Christmas and I have more presents to make. Thankfully this is the only knife!

Definite Hamon activity. This is at 600. I'll probably take this to at least 800
Making some templates to have some blades water jet cut. The small one can nest into the larger one, so I am planning to do 10 of the larger in Magnacut, and 10 of the smaller one in Nitro V and maybe 10 in 80CRV2 or 52100.

Nitro V and Black/Tan G10 "ripple". Current Composite makes this material. Its the same style as the maze looking G10, but the maze pattern is on the sides. Hollow black Micarta tubes on this one.
CPM 3V and DayGlo Ameragrip:
4" magnacut drop point with jimping, mosaics and G Carta handle:
Rehandled a Tojiro Basic Nakiri in Blue/White Inlace Acrylic with blue G10 pins. This is a partial tang handle where the spine of the tang is exposed, but the finger side of the tang isn't, so I did up a white/blue/white G10 spacer to equal out the thickness of the tang.

Gunstock in CPM-154 and African Blackwood. Pattern was inspired from a picture of an Ohta and some others I've seen. drawn in Inkscape then transfered to steel. Did a hardpattern that was overclocked then scribed that onto the steel for this knife.
Picked up an old Wilson 1R hardness tester for $325 today Complete with manuals, 3 test blocks, ball and diamond brale penetrator and the 150kg weights!! It seems to read 2 hrc low consistently, so I may look in to how to adjust that after I do more testing and get consistent with it.
