Balibalistic that looks like some clean work...and to many moving parts for me...lol

Test I did cutting some water bottles. Next time I will try for more.
This is the chopper Im working on, reground the edge back thicker and sharpened it a bit different. I dont have the video but I chopped some antler tips off and did not get any chipping so on to handling it.

Just discovered scotch brite belts. Love them. This is my newest design for a pack knife/ bush craft knife. I used 8670 steel.

Scotch bright belts are great for blending scratch patternsno don't use them on blades, but I do a lot of my handles.

Some more stuff.. Working on my recurves.. Oddly enough,i find them easier to grind on my 2" wide wheel vs my 1" wide wheel.

I'm at work now....so she's on the 2nd draw (one of the perks of my job: free heat treating)
I plan on finishing up this weekend

....or sneaking out to the shop tonight when I get home....

just finished this one.
Elmax blade, 1/4" pivot, 8-64 pivot barrel with disc pivot heads domed, CF scales and clip, antique Westinghouse white micarta bolster, thumb shredder stud. The blade was blasted and dipped in Caswell stainless blacking, then tumbled a few minutes.

finished a couple of kitchen knives.

8" overall length with 4" blade. canarywood handle.

8" overall with 4" blade, hard maple handle
Both blades, 4 1/4" long, 4" cutting edge, are 0.45" thick at the spine and 0.003" thick at the edge. 1.2519 high carbon tool steel ((C:1,15%/Mn:0,4%/W:1,4%/Cr:1,3%/V:0,25%) hardened and tempered the blade to a final hardness of Rc64-65, The edge was then ground to 8 degrees per side then hand worked to razor sharpness.

Well finished putting my Grizzly grinder togeather along with my drill press. Made a bunch of Micarta. Now to buy some metal and belts and I will be good too go.

super nice! I really like how you have gotten gradients into your hardening line. Very cool. Are those stacked spacers, or is the handle material a laminate? Beautiful.

Thanks John! I really like the transition zones in the steel too! there tricky to get to come out just right but very rewarding when they do. I'm not sure what you mean by stacked spacers? I added the G10 liners and such to the scales if that what you mean.

So after the move to the new house and reorganizing of my supplies and machines I found my box containing the over half done projects. Lol here is an attempt at a edc/smallish hunter in Aebl and tiger wood with brass pins. Yes it has a dip to sand out that jumps out to most of us. Lol
Is mocked up to check the look an fit overall. Scales are waayyy to thick at just inder .5" and I have yet to hand sand the blade.
