Please tell us about it. What is the handle material?

It’s one of my early knives. Stabilized corn husk scales. Wish I had purchased more since I haven’t been able to find any since. The blade is 1084 carbon steel with an acid etched pattern.

I carry what I think I might need that day. Light work? Then a Swiss Army Knife. Heavier work? Then maybe a Buck 110 or a Boker such as one of these:
