Another Wharncliffe Trapper.
This one is 3 5/8 closed 6 1/2 open.
CPM154 blades hollow ground at 60 RC.
410 mill relieved liners with 416 bolsters.
I used some bone that I jigged and dyed for the handles.
Satin finish on the bolsters and blades.
I'm not a fan of slippies nor am I a fan of jigged bone, but you made this piece look great. It's an amazing feat when you make me admit that I like a knife that has two of my most unliked charecteristics in a knife.
Thanks again everyone. Dan, I used Fiebing’s professional oil dye for leather. I started with saddle tan in a pressure pot and then used mahogany. I brushed the mahogany on while it was still wet from the saddle tan.
