I've been out of touch for a while and just saw this post.

Folks,
Coby is settled in and doing well;
she's eating and gettin' healthy again.
She asks to pass along her thanks to you,and I thank you for all your support.
Recently,Stan Buzek ( www.sbuzekknives.com ) offered to send me a couple of blades he's had kicking around for awhile,
and I've asked,and received his blessing to finish one of them with full file-work,mosaic pins,stabilized handle and custom fitted sheath;
that knife will be going up for raffle to help Coby with her rent and bills.
She works part-time,and doesn't get any sick-leave or benefits,so missing a paycheck while in hospital
means she might not make her rent at month's end...

have given all that I could ask for,and more...
Even though she and I no longer walk the same path we were on for 11 years,
she's still,and will always be a big part of my heart,
and I only want for her to be healthy,and happy.
All the prayers,smoke and good vibes have brought her back to getting healthy again,
and I love ya'll for that.

Just thought I'd give ya'll an update;
Coby is doing well,
the clots are diminishing and no longer causing pressure.
She's stable and her INR numbers are returning to what her doc figures is safe.
Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers,
the Knife Community is an incredible thing to be part of!

I've just moved back to Parksville,on Vancouver Island.
I'm bunking down at a friend's place until I get working and find a place,
and soon as I can I'll be puttin' that knife together that Stan sent me.
 
Thank you Frank,she is doing better,and her Doc feels she's going to be fine.
There is still some danger over the next 6 months that the clots could dislodge as they dissolve,
but I have Faith she's going to be fine.
It's the Power of Kindred Spirits that channels a lot of Healing and the Grace of God,
and I'm thankful for you all...
