What's the size of these? Intended to be a pocket carry?

That turned out nice!! I’m planning to make a kabar at some point with a stacked leather handle. I may have to get some pointers from you.
That is a neat project. I may have to come up with my own version to play with. I did some neck knives a while back based on a Murray Carter design and I found one the other day which had me thinking of revisiting the idea. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thanks Dennis! Did you make other Scagles other than the one you did early on?That’s a good looking Scagel…
I have made a few of them. Thanks Dennis! Did you make other Scagles other than the one you did early on?
I can tell you it’s a lot of messy work and a lot of pieces but once it’s done it doesn’t seem so bad. I just received a sheet of sole leather which is already compressed. I think it will work better than sheath leather.Sweet. You should do a WIP on the handle glue up. That thing is nice
Your craftsmanship is superb, what an eye for style and detail!I counterbored and epoxied an antler plug to hide the retention nut and screw
Thank you very much. I drilled a hole in the end of the tang and then cut a slot to insert a #6 bolt. Then counter sink and attach the antler with a washer and a nut I like doing it this way because I can get good clamping pressure and line up.Your craftsmanship is superb, what an eye for style and detail!
Did you place a nut on the tang and then attached the antler piece on with a screw, or is it the reverse of that?
