OPauls Knife Picture Thread

Here are pictures starting back from when I first started making knives.
These where made from an old (very old) saw blade I found on my wife's great grandparents property.
If not mistaken I think I used an angle grinder on these. I don't think I had the 1x32 yet.


I remember being very proud of this one with the mosaic pin.


I'm pretty sure I had the 1x32 on most of these, with the exception of the one previously shown.

Wanted to try a minature and so it was.


and this was my first forged attempt.

A small cleaver and a paring knife for a friend.

Another forged blade but on a much smaller scale.


Thought I might try to assembly line approach on some of the blades with different styles.

At some point I acquired the KMG and made these and maybe some of the ones in the previous post.

Then I started making a few of this type which were fun to make

Then into some rustic looking blades, not forged but that have that look.

Poor attempt at making an opener but they made great Christmas gifts.


And then another forged blade.

After seeing some two tone handled blades I thought I'd try my hand and make a few.

Somewhere along the way I made these and dubbed them the reptilians (silly I know)

and then it was my first hidden tang attempt.

Then more various blades in different styles and shapes.

On to trying more refinement and sanding in the full flat grind and fit and finish (still no where close to where they need to be) and a Hamon!

And then the Bowie bug struck.
