Same here. Mom fried it in butter with brown sugar and served it with a canned pineapple ring on top.I remember eating that when I was a little kid, fried up. from what I can remember it wasn't bad, with ketchup pf course.
Another old time'y delicacy is scrapple, pan fried till almost burnt, also with ketchup. that stuff's from Amish country.
I think I can make it thru the rest of my life without ever eating either one of these things again.
