Nice work, Dennis! It would be hard to pick a favorite between those three.
Great looking knives Dennis and intriguing storyline. Now for the story. These were made for a father and two sons. All the same, but different. The elk handles are all from the same elk shed from Nevada. Great color and texture. All share a walnut spacer from the same piece of wood. The sheaths are from the same piece of leather. Same with the braiding. Also they share the same mosaic pin in the butt cap.
Very nice, Dennis.Another knife in the books. I have made this pattern before several times over. I call it “small hunter”. 1075, African Blackwood bolsters, desert ironwood scales, copper liner and pins. It was a Christmas order that got completed on time and in budget. Hoorah!!
Very nice Dennis! How is that African Black-wood to work with?
Thanks. I'll have to give some a try.I like it. It finishes well with sharp belts and good sand paper.
