Meteorite blade with a good cutting edge

Frank Niro

KNIFE MAKER
Hello all. Many of you know I don 't know how to take or post pictures. I have a new listing up in the "New arrivals" section of the customknifegallery.com I have a folder there with a meteotite blade and bolsters with some lovely mammoth ivory from the bottom of the North Sea. What may be interesting to you is that the blade has an almost non visible applied edge of a D2 type metal, which has made it a good cutter as well as having all the characteristics of Seymchan meteorite. I will be pleased to answer any questions you may have. And thanks for looking if you do.Frank

Here ya go Frank

Brad , my many thanks to you !!!! What I could have added was that I don't get to shows and only once in a while get to talk to buyers and collectors. I sure miss that part of the knife making game.

That is really nice! I was unaware that the two could be bonded without messing up the crystal structure of the meteorite.
