Love the atmosphere here

Hey I just wanted to say that I love the atmosphere in this place. I feel like I can post without getting my hands slapped, especially compared to the other forum that I belong to which will not be mentioned. Over there it is much more serious questions and serious answers and everything else seems frowned upon. But here, it's more relaxed and more enjoyable. 2thumbs

Maybe it's just me?
Maybe it's just 'cause we don't have many people yet?
Maybe everyone feels the same!?

Oh it will! When I first got into the knife world, I couldn't believe how helpful people are in this community. Even some of the biggest names in knife making were more than willing to help me get started. You won't find that any where else. I appreciate each and every one of you. 2thumbs

I think if we keep it simple, family like and not give sub forums for complaining (whine and cheese) or porn (pirates cove) it will draw quality discussions. We can keep it clean and still have fun. I'm in this for the craft not the drama.

It's like a forum with all the attributes of USA Knifemakers Supply .... I wonder why that is?
