Great knives. I see that many of those appear to be 1/8" or so thick. Do you work mainly in 1/8" thicknesses? I find that I more often than not choose 1/8" unless its a big chopper. I just like the light weight, to me knives do not have to be thick to be strong.

Yes, anything that can be stabilized is. Desert ironwood and some oily woods are not. Anything spalted is stabilized for sure.A love for beautiful figured wood is what attracted me to knifemaking, Jess. I'm still a newbie, so here's a noob question: Are all those spalted and heavily figured handles stabilized, or do you sometimes go without it?
Those are sweet...to be honest when I read that really fast I saw cocaine slicers...I thought they used razor blades for that. At least that's what I learned from TV lol
