Great knives. I see that many of those appear to be 1/8" or so thick. Do you work mainly in 1/8" thicknesses? I find that I more often than not choose 1/8" unless its a big chopper. I just like the light weight, to me knives do not have to be thick to be strong.

Yes, .143" is usually my thickest stock. Many are .100-.125".

The first knives out of my shop in 2021 are a trio of Limericks. Great as neck knives, in your front pocket or in a purse.

This is the first time I've made my Straight-back Kerry model as a chef's knife. The blade is 50100 high carbon steel with a full flat grind. The handle is a piece of heavily spalted maple.

Yes, anything that can be stabilized is. Desert ironwood and some oily woods are not. Anything spalted is stabilized for sure.

Those are sweet...to be honest when I read that really fast I saw cocaine slicers...I thought they used razor blades for that. At least that's what I learned from TV lol

These are a pair of Donegals. Both are CPM154 with full flat grinds. The lighter one is box elder burl and the dark one is Ringed Gidgee

This is one of my Antrims. For some reason I love making this knife. The blade is 3/16" 12c27 stainless with a shallow hollow grind. The handle is curly mahogany.
