Howdy all! I lurk here occasionally but till now Bladeforums is my only posting place on knife type forums. I am a hobby maker, on and off for about 8 years now, but only total less than 50 blades or so.
I'm an Electrical Engineering group leader by trade, and EE by education. Feel free to ask electrical type questions...I'm big on not getting shocked!
I work a lot with South Texas mesquite wood and fishing/hunting type knives but dabble in anything that catches my interest. I've even gone as far as taking a tree from my Dad's place to the sawmill and building a kiln to dry/sterilize the resulting wood.
I have 2 kids, 8 and 5.5, and besides the family, work, and other hobbies (fishing, hunting, etc.) I still like to make sparks once in a while.
Oh, and I R an Aggie (TAMU class of 1997), so HOWDY Y'ALL!
