So I have just had my interest piqued recently into to knifemaking. I know pretty much zero on the topic. Can anyone suggest any online resources that start from the very beginning? Did a couple searches and looked for some stickies but didn't find much.

Hello and Welcome try looking under the tutorial section and google searching knife making and knife grinding. there are also a lot of books out there that can get you from start to finish. I read the 50 dollar knife Shop by Wayne Goddard. before I made my first knife.
