Actually, it feels more like the mojave desert here in Dallas. I am an old knifemaker who learned the craft from a famous gregarious knifemaking pioneer back in the 60's and 70's. While working for this man, I designed and made the first all-stainless pocketknife out of 440C. I also made a 7" fighting knife that a Green Beret won the Silver Star with after he dispatched 6 or 7 of the enemy. He came to visit after the war. I have made knifes off and on through the years, and I always thought I would be doing it full time as my life winds down, but fate had other plans. If Lady luck shines on me, I will be making some soon. In the interim, I have some things I need to place because I have no use for them. A lot of you guys are making some outstanding knives and I enjoy admiring the craftsmanship. Anyhoo, my name is David. Feel free to shout if you have any bull to shoot!
