I would like to see some of the curlly hickery you picked up at the Boise Show. That stuff looked GOOD!

11/20 Drawing

This will be the prize for the 11/20 Drawing.
It is a set of stabilized Camphor Burl scales. Stabilizing was done by K&G.

I think it's pretty rare but I've seen pics. VERY cool! I love hickory handles but most are kinda boring-looking. If there's some curly hickory available I'm definitely interested. I bet the tomahawk guys would snap it up, too!

I'm pretty stoked,I've never used camphor burl before,
so this is gonna be a treat!
I'm going to use it on a special knife:
I'm going up to Prince George in Feb. to bring my woman Home,
and I want to present her with a good knife as a Welcome Home gift:
these scales will go on her knife!
 
11/27 Prize

This is the prize for the drawing on 11/27. It is a block of curly maple that was professionally dyed stabilized by K&G. If the winner needs the block cut into scales just let me know.
