I'll bet your farrier was very pleased! Great forge work, and the embellishments are the icing on the cake. What did you use for the handle stock- and is that horse hair- and hide on the handle?

Yes horse tail drop , beading . copper jingle cones with horse .

brass studs ,spoted gum haft .small dear wrap .german silver horse shoes

AWESOME Mate!!! Love the Gum haft and the embellishments...
I wanted to throw a 'hawk last weekend and they all are gone..Time to see if I remember how to beat on hot iron.....
