Bearing trouble

I got my NWG together and running, about the middle of Jan.I have had a little noise when running it on high, which was not very often. It's now started with a little vibration on low and med.Long story short, the outside pillow bearing has started to go bad.I have kept it greased, and I do not run it every day,I was just wondering if someone has ever had the same problem.

Any advice would be appreciated.

God bless,Keith

I just replaced a bearing in a wheel on my grinder and it is singing again. Must be those good Chinese bearings.

If you have bearings that are repeatedly go bad:

It many be poor quality Chinese bearings

If you continue to have trouble, it may be bad alignment is causing premature wear.
or they may have been damaged on installation.

You say you are greasing them, but most bearings in pillow blocks are prelubed and sealed- not grease-able. When you have them out and replace them with sealed bearings, no need to grease them again.
