Hi all. I'm looking for some very high quality veg tanned horsehide to use for hanging razor strops. I live in the UK and production of leather from horses has all but stopped so I'm hoping my friends across the pond can help :) Any info or leads welcome....

    Small Utility Knife

This design brief for this one was a do it all knife for camping trips. It had to be small enough to pack easily but large enough to be useful. Here's what I came up with.... The handle and sheath are wenge and the bolster is bone. The blade is 120mm long, 12c27 at 60rc. Please feel...

Here are some pictures of a chef's knife I've just finished with a handle made from a beautiful piece of Brazilian rosewood. The pictures really don't do the wood justice I'm afraid. The blade is 230mm long, 12c27 and the overall length is 380mm. Please feel free to leave a...

I've been playing around with kitchen knife designs for a few months now and I think I've settled on one I like. This is intended as a general utility knife and would sit in between a paring knife and a large chef's knife. The blade is 150mm long and 2.4mm at the thickest point, the...

    Do you make kitchen knives?

I often get asked whether I make kitchen knives when I tell people I make knives. I decided it was about time I stopped saying no :) I consider myself a complete beginner at this as in my opinion making a knife the works well in the kitchen is a totally different thing from making a knife for...
