Brazilian Rosewood Chef's Knife

Here are some pictures of a chef's knife I've just finished with a handle made from a beautiful piece of Brazilian rosewood. The pictures really don't do the wood justice I'm afraid.

The blade is 230mm long, 12c27 and the overall length is 380mm.

Beautiful knife. I am interested in how the handle is attached. Care to explain it to someone who has never made a kitchen knife. I am guessing the tang has some notches in it and epoxy is used.

Good clean lines on the blade for sure. Looks good. Don't you just love that Sandvik steel?
