Handle is Buckeye Burl from Big Island Hawaii. Blade is 440c stainless with copper pins. Overall length is 7 1/4 Blade length is 3 1/8 thickness is 1/8. With a Mirror Finish.

my shop is in the basement works great i also got a garage but my better half keeps it cluttered up so i gave up. the basement has heat and AC plus stairs that the better half don't like!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

not trying to hijack your thread Weatherman but i have a ? That list of compounds from what i get out of it is the compounds for steel. I think Weatherman is mostly interested in wood buffing compounds and i could use the same list of what you guys are using to buff wood. So if any of you could...

i also use it at times makes a darn good looking handle and easy to work with. try the supper glue finish on it you will love it.

yes i think the pits add ca rector to the guard leave them it looks good to me.

i like file work but not every one does. For a hunting knife would you like file work or not? some say its a pain to clean me i don't have a prob cleaning it but that's me. If you don't mind give me some input i want to see what the majority out come is on this subject.
