Just finished the final knife of my current run.

I started to grind these last weekend. I got 3 done hopefully the other 2 will be done this weekend. For me grinding the blade is always nerve wracking. I have tried to use jigs to make it easier but so far I have always had the best results freehand. I am hoping one day it gets easier.

I think CAD is a must. You can do so much planning and adjusting without wasting a bunch of time. It allows you to make small adjustments and see the results. I check all my dimensions including contours and counterbores on CAD. Having a mill with a DRO is also great. A benchtop is fine. A...
