I've seen people make a fixture to use with a bench vise for flaring thong tubes. That way they had both sides if the handle secured.

That looks like it would work. The price isn't bad. I don't know how deep of a vacuum you need to get good penetration, so the quality of the pump might be a concern. I would try it out.

A lot of folks use Cactus Juice. I haven't tried it but I've heard that it's difficult to get as good a result as the pros do. But check out this web site: https://www.turntex.com/ I think you just need a vacuum pump and a vacuum chamber with appropriate tubes and valves to control the process...

You should be able to reuse it. The dry ice is just CO2 and it's gone.
