With the abuse that seems apparent (the dents and break) perhaps you could just weld on a chunk and re-profile it until the end user learns what are appropriate tasks for a knife?is there any way to bring it back to life

yea it was the thinest part of that blade and he torqued on it.Yikes ... looks like it was too hard/brittle but I’m just a journeyman here.
