    PVC Idler Wheels

    Is anyone using the economy PVC idler wheels from wilmont grinders. I can't seem to get away from the black buildup on my platen. Tried different belts from different makers and they all leave the black. Wondering if the PVC may be transferring to the belts and then to the platen.

    Black crud on platen.

    I have been getting hard black crud on my platen. It happens with both steel and glass platen. It scrubs off with solvent. I know it is coming from the belts. Not all of the belts do it. Anyone know the cause of how to prevent it?

    HT Oven Help

    Having problems with my oven. I can hit 1000 in 30 to 40 minutes but it really slows down after that. It can take another hour or more to raise to 1850. Are the coils too small or could there be other problems. Can anyone on the forum help with coil size information.
