Zito KITH WIP- 9-2-18 update pics

Clean and crisp are noty always associated with hand filed blades
Oh lol. I do a lot of the crisping freehand on the 4 by 36. I grind with it in the horizontal position and stand behind behind it... the belt is spinning away from me. I then pull the knife to me in a sharpening type of motion. One side with my left hand and one side with my right. It’s weird I guess lol.

Ok, she’s glued up and ready for contouring. I went with the Blackwood as it’s a favorite of mine. I almost threw this one earlier because I messed up all the file work by over sanding and grinding (after epoxy). Instead of chunking it, I just redid the filing, and tried to adjust by reshaping the handle a bit. Running into lanyard hole issues, but I think I can maybe make it work. The quality of knives in this KITH is outstanding... I’m just trying to make something halfway presentable. Critique always welcome.88B147EB-52A6-4559-B34F-864F96AC6F5A.jpeg2BAEFF9A-6B09-47B2-85A7-A45DBA40B31F.jpeg0071E427-AE83-4441-886D-A06C24976325.jpeg

That’s a great looking knife. File work is difficult for me (that’s why I’ve only done it a couple times) ,yours looks very evenly spaced. Nice touch.

I decided to go all black on this one. I have to do makers mark and put finishing product on leather. Be sure to let me know what y’all think. Thanks for looking! Critique please!image.jpgimage.jpg
