Oh lol. I do a lot of the crisping freehand on the 4 by 36. I grind with it in the horizontal position and stand behind behind it... the belt is spinning away from me. I then pull the knife to me in a sharpening type of motion. One side with my left hand and one side with my right. It’s weird I guess lol.Clean and crisp are noty always associated with hand filed blades
Thanks!I like it!
Thanks, John. That’s a huge compliment in my eyes!Great job on saving the project. There is no way to know it has been changed in any way. Well done!
I'll be proud to own that knife!
Thanks, Mike! That’s a great looking knife. File work is difficult for me (that’s why I’ve only done it a couple times) ,yours looks very evenly spaced. Nice touch.
Love it. Great lines and flow.
Well done
Thanks, guys! Y’all are too kind! I’m hoping to have the knife pretty much done by the end of day. Then it’ll be sheath time! It's shaping up to be a really great looking knife. You should be proud of the work your doing.
Thanks, Ted! That’s definitely what I was going for.Very classy looking!
Beat up and dirty nails...the knife maker look...lolI sent my dad a few pics of the other kith wips. He said, “ all y’all hands look the same, I thought you made your first folder” lol.
