Sorry.
No worries. Gotta have a reality check where I'm really at on the Dunning-Kruger scale.Sorry.
I used a file folder for a pattern. I have to run to the store later and plan on grabbing a pack of card stock or something like that to use for themYour knife looks great.
Sheaths are a whole different skill set.
I finally took a class which helped out a lot, but it still takes practice.
Did you start your sheath with a pattern? I use file folders to draw out and cut a pattern before cutting the leather.
DeMo or some of the other leather experts will be along shortly.
Read their posts for good info.

Looking good brother!! Keep us posted!Tried my hand at making a sheath, first time here, if it had not been for @EdCaffreyMS coaching it’d still be a drawing on a sheet of paper
That piece has A LOT of eye appeal! You nailed the "flow" on that one really well.

These are gorgeous, Bobby. Could you share where you found the Dymondwood? I was under the impression it was no longer available because of a factory fire, or something like that.Having some fun in the shop.
first one is for my first paying customer lol 8670 hunter With green maple scales and bronze pins
Second is for a good friend. 80crv2 small skinner with dymondwood scales.
third is a 62year anniversary present for mother inlaw. 15n20 chief with blue maple scales
Ian Atkinson has some good youtube videos on leather work and sheaths that are pretty good. That is what I used in the beginning when I first started making them.Tried my hand at making a sheath, first time here, if it had not been for @EdCaffreyMS coaching it’d still be a drawing on a sheet of paper
