ways to get hurt in the shop

I was looking for something in the 2009 threads when I came across a thread byTravis Fry about ways to get hurt in the shop. Man it sure makes a fella stop and think about what you are doing in the shop. I plead with everyone to be careful when you are working in the shop. I worry about all you guys, new and seasoned makers. Take care.

Larry,
Oh knife making has to be one of the most dangerous hobbies/ Occupations there can be. Not only can you injure yourself doing it but the repetitive motions involved can cause many finger, hand, elbow etc problems.

Your posture is very important when doing any of the repetitive acts we do. I always approach each act and think is this the best posture to not cause undue stress on an area of my body?
