W-2 Skinner - Been a while.........

Haven't done much knife making lately......... Sort of been in a "Low-Burn-Out" feeling, but I did manage to finish this little skinner just to see if I could still do it.

W-2 with a lightly forced antique finish. The handle material is black Linen Micarta with Micarta Pins and some "Dirt-Dauber" scratchings to give it a bit of grip. Feels really good in my hand.

Overall length is 8" and tip to handle is 3 3/4"

The Sheath is hand-sewn 7/8 oz. Veg-Tanned leather.

Thanks for looking................ Robert

Nice, I like how you textured the hand scales. Gives it a very cool character.

Good to see you back Robert and it looks like you've still got it. Love the "Dirt Dauber" finish but hate the actual insects themselves. My old shop wasn't sealed and they built nests on EVERYTHING. Believe it or not, not having to deal with those darned things is one of the favorite aspects of my new shop. LOL

Thanks gang. I need to get out of this little "Funk" that I have been in and get back to making some stuff.

Dozier......... Glad that kitchen knife is working for you.

Darrin........Those Dirt Daubers can be a real PITA. Its as if they build those nests in places they know will make you mad. :)
