Traditional Bowhunters of Montana knives

Just finished up two knives for the banquet at Chico Hot Springs here in Montana tomorrow. Got these in just under the wire...thank you Doug Krings for your support and patience.

4" 440C blades, plate quenched and tempered to 58 Rockwell C. Mitered bolsters and stainless pins, both grade 304. Tapered tangs. Desert Ironwood handle scales, it's been awhile since I worked this material and was shocked anew at how hard it was on the abrasive belts. Sorry for the weak photos, I could have budgeted my time better but I guess this is a decent representation of them. Thanks for looking!

Hey Frank those are nice! I know what you mean about managing time, but there are always outside influences that are unaccounted for. Life has a way of throwing curves at you.
Looks like you did a bang up job though. I like them and I am sure they will too.

By the way, if you are throwing knives away, I am a not so traditional bowhunter from Indiana. If you need a good cause....
