Boy its been a busy January. First week I spent a few days in Idaho with silversmith Dave Alderson. That was a humbling experience. Had a great time. I have lots of practice ahead of me. Spent time learning how to do some push engraving and may have got a little distracted in the evenings working on a knife. Anyway he gave me this piece of damascus. So when I got home it sat there a couple days before it couldn't stand it any longer. This is what I come up with. Finished it the day I had a fellow coming from Montana for a saddle making lesson. Six days to build a finished saddle. I'm tired. Glad he was a quick study.
