Small Bowie w/walrus

Here is another one for the Chicago Show. Its a forged W-2 with a clay coated heat treatment, 1018 fittings and fossilized walrus tusk handle. Paul Long worked his magic on the sheath. This is a very small ladylike bowie. Very light weight and fast. That W-2 is hollow ground on a 14" wheel and the thin edge is hair popping sharp.

Yep this one went to a loving new family

I think it has about a 7" blade. The handle is downsized too and thin from the top view. Its very light weight.

One thing I've noticed about bowies is that it doesnt matter what size they are are. I look at some old english bowies and they are not huge but smaller and easy to carry and use. Although, one time I showed I showed a rather large bowie to a young boy when we were out camping and he got a frightened look on his face and ran away. His dad never showed up thankfully.
