I,m on the last stages of making my 1st real slipjoint and using Bocote and Brass as handle and liner,s.

I would like to use super glue as a joiner/sealant to join the handle to the liners as that,s the finish i,m going to use on the wood.

Will super glue work good or do i need to use epoxy ?

Thanks,
Bryce

I would use Super Glue. I use Gorilla Brand Super Glue. Lot Od folder makers use Super Glue.

Thanks for the info. The pins i,m sure will hold fine but i wanted a lil extra insurance and to keep moisture out.

I use the gorilla glue CA and Ive never had a problem. As a matter of fact I let a slipjoint get away from me on the buffer one day and about the only thing that stayed together was the scales and liners.
