Both are great but I have to side with John on this one. The edge goes to Metallica. I also have to admit that @J. Doyle has gained a few cool points in my eyes for listening to Metallica...
 
I had not seen that video of Metallica/Turn the Page. Great cover. Vid disturbed me a great deal. I wanted to flay that woman beater and salt the bastard. Still got issues about domestic violence, I guess...

Wish I'd just listened, now. :) Hammett wailing the whole song and the power behind Hetfield's voice is always a great formula.

Yeah it's best to just listen to the songs and not watch videos or read articles/interviews. I'm pretty convinced as human beings they might not be quite right.
