Good song. But I gotta say....I think Metallica did a much better job with their cover....and I don't say that lightly because I almost NEVER prefer cover songs. But Hetfield absolutely killed that cover.I was 12 when I first hear this...and I was hooked. Where does the time go...!!?
Both are great but I have to side with John on this one. The edge goes to Metallica. I also have to admit that @J. Doyle has gained a few cool points in my eyes for listening to Metallica...Good song. All great people listening to Metallica. It’s science. Both are great but I have to side with John on this one. The edge goes to Metallica. I also have to admit that @J. Doyle has gained a few cool points in my eyes for listening to Metallica...
Saw them back during the "Justice For All" tour. Good show. All great people listening to Metallica. It’s science.
Yeah it's best to just listen to the songs and not watch videos or read articles/interviews. I'm pretty convinced as human beings they might not be quite right.I had not seen that video of Metallica/Turn the Page. Great cover. Vid disturbed me a great deal. I wanted to flay that woman beater and salt the bastard. Still got issues about domestic violence, I guess...
Wish I'd just listened, now. Hammett wailing the whole song and the power behind Hetfield's voice is always a great formula.

I saw Black Sabath live in Philadelphia back in I think 1977 or 78. Concerts back then in Philly were pretty wild. That was a wild concert for sure.
