Question on a Mapp Gas torch

I am using Mapp gas,and for about the last 6 mounths,when I would light the thing,and turn on the oxygen,it would start pulsating.I could always try it long enough and it would start working,however,now I can't get it to quit doing it...Can someone give me some advice?

A few things might be going on..... cylinder is low, something in the torch/mixing valve might not be working correctly, OR, you could have a bad cylinder of MAPP gas. A while ago I read something about an entire lot of MAPP gas cylinders being recalled because of "an incorrect mixture".
