If I may nominate one of my own. I would like to add a Damascus Kitchen knife to the mix! Not sure where it will fit, or what category it may be in.. Possibly we can have a kitchen knife category, But here it is,
Here is another one of mine I did this year. This one is a frontier style belt knife I called my "Ace of hearts"
OAL is 8.25'', it has a 4.25" L6 blade and some super curly Bastogne walnut for the handle. The pins are copper.
Sorry for the bad picture, it was taken before I got a decent camera
I would like to submit a couple of mine. First is my BMF flipper. It features fully contoured and carved frames. It has IKBS pivot with a CPM S35-VN blade.
Second is my Convicted flipper. It is a linerlock and features AC Metsala damascus blade, bolsters and backspacer. It also has IKBS and carbon fiber scales.
This was one of the nicest ones I did this year. Steel was ATS34, tapered tang. Dovetailed rosewood bolsters with olivewood handles and mosaic pins. This was knife #173. Thanks to Kayla for the nice picture.
Here is a hunter from my apprentise Bill Dirk (Sturgeon General) Its plenty worthy of our annual "Doggie" nominations.
I could say some really good things about it but dont want him to get a big head.
