Heart pine scales 52100 steel

View attachment 84041Another heart pine glue up. This stick was split, something they did before they stared sawing them square.

This will be interesting to see. I’ve been thinking about trying pine, if I find some with some grain or something. That has a really nice color.

It is. Before they used a circular saw to cut the tobacco hanging sticks they split the pine with a froe. This was from one of the split sticks I had.
