started making knives in 1984. i made fixed blades and did my heat treating with a torch.now i handle a few,and make sheaths. i doubt you will here much from me,but i'll be watching. i spent the last 30 years in aircraft, from structure mechanic to toolmaker. there are some really friendy and experienced makers here.
 
Welcome to the pack. Good to have you here with us. Haven't met too many people in A&P (other than my wife).
