Nice and simple white-tail scalpel

Here's a small knife I finished that would be perfect for whitetail and smaller sized game. It is thin light and compact. A real scalpel.

Ground from 1084
6 3/4" overall, 3 1/8" tip to scales, .110" thick at the ricasso w/ radical distal taper ending in a nice needle point
Curly Claro walnut scales
german silver pins
Black leather sheath.

Just in time for hunting season. :)

Nice work ! I have a knife on the bench that I'm going to add redwood burl scales to without a guard or bolisters, hope it turns out as well as yours.

Thanks guys.

Elegant. You gonna mind getting blood on that thing?

This one will be used by the new owner. But no.....I would not hesitate to get blood on it at all. In a week or two, I am going to finally make me a hunter for my own use. It will be nice but I'll be happy to get blood all over it. ;)

Yea, I,d get blood on that, you can tell its eager to go hunting.
Hey congrats on the nice write up in the last Blade Magazine!
